July 16, 2007 - The 6th Annual HSU Cowboys Coaches Luncheon is set for Coaching School. We will be at Riscky's BBQ in downtown Ft. Worth on Main & 2nd. It'll be on Monday, July 30, at 1:30 pm. We will, also, be looking to nominate/elect a Treasurer for the HSU Coaches Association. Spread the word. Tell everyone you see/know/talk to that will be at Coaching School
April 9, 2007 - The 2nd Annual Big Country Linemen Challenge at HSU has been scheduled. Check the Calendar for more details. Also, stay tuned for more details on our 1st Annual HSU Coaches Clinic in June. Hope everyone had a Happy Easter! Good luck to everyone as we finish out our Spring Seasons.
April 4, 2007 - Congratulations go out to Anthony Christian. He has been elected to the HSU Hall of Fame. This is definitely a deserving tribute to one of the best defensive tackles to play for the Cowboys. Way to go AC!!!!
March 28, 2007 - Coach Frank Rausch has just informed us that he is retiring from coaching. He has been at Hardin-Simmons for 10 years and it has been an exciting 10 years. He has been an integral part of our success over that time period. He's going to continue teaching until he can retire with TRS. Thanks for everything Coach Rausch!
March 19, 2007 - Congratulations to Jeff Whitehead and the Wimberley staff for being selected to be this years All-Star Football Coaches for the South Team
March 8, 2007 - HSU Quarterback Jordan Neal has signed to play football for the Limhamn Griffins in Sweden. Good luck Jordan
March 7, 2007 - An email came in from Tommy Cupil. He is in Iraq fighting for our country! Keep him in your thoughts and prayers. If we have any other teammates doing the same, we'll recognize them also
